Both Parties Are Getting Desired Venue

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has decided to allow Awami League and BNP to hold a rally at their preferred venue on October 28. However, no party has been officially given permission yet.

A responsible source of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) informed the media this information on Thursday (October 26) evening.

A top DMP official told the media that both parties will get permission at the preferred location. If they make trouble, police will be strict. However, DMP will not allow Jamaat to enter the field in any way.

DMP Additional Commissioner Dr. K. Mahid Uddin (Crime and Operations) told the media that no team has been given permission in writing yet. A decision will be taken on the overall issue on Friday. Police will ensure maximum security. Checkposts will be set up and searched at every place at the entrance of Dhaka.
