BNP Activists Gathering At Nayapaltan To Join Mass Rally

BNP leaders and activists began congregating in front of the BNP's Nayapaltan headquarters at 7:30 a.m. today, in anticipation of participating in a mass rally to emphasize their one-point demand. 

As planned, the rally is set to commence at 12:00 p.m.

Throughout the morning, numerous party members have been energetically voicing their support for their cause in front of the party office, as reported by our correspondent on-site.

During the correspondent's visit, it was evident that a considerable number of BNP leaders and activists had occupied both sides of the road from the Kakrail intersection to Notre Dame College.

However, senior party leaders have yet to arrive at the location.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is scheduled to officially announce the party's singular objective, which is to oust the Awami League from power and ensure the upcoming national elections are conducted under a neutral government.

Party members have begun arriving at the rally site in small groups from various wards, donning colorful caps, holding placards and posters, and chanting slogans against the government.

Vehicular traffic in the Nayapaltan area has been restricted on both sides of the road.

Simultaneously, a significant number of law enforcement officers have been deployed in the vicinity.

This rally is being organized by the BNP's Dhaka city unit (North and South) and features a temporary stage erected in front of the party office.
