Gayeshwar Asks Whether It Was A Conspiracy To Allow Myanmar Troops to Enter BD

Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, a member of the BNP Standing Committee, said that the government has made a concerted effort to divert the attention of the people. It should be investigated whether there is any new conspiracy to allow Myanmar army personnel to enter Bangladesh.

He made the remarks in a press conference on the decision of the standing committee and the current political situation at the BNP Chairperson's office in Gulshan on Wednesday (February 7).

Gayeshwar Chandra Roy said, the Awami League has repeatedly sacrificed the interests of the country just to stay in power. If the ongoing situation in Bangladesh is so unbearable, there will be a disaster in all sectors including the economic and diplomatic sectors of the country. The government should take responsibility for this.

Gayeshwar also said that the BNP is into a movement, and the pace and nature of the movement will be more clear soon.

In addition to four standing committee members of the BNP, the vice chairman, adviser, and joint secretary general were present.
