Why will the citizens of our country die in mortar shells fired by other countries? So where is the security? BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said that the government did not have the courage to raise a protest in this incident. Because of knee-jerk foreign policy, the government lacks courage. Rizvi termed the entry of the Border Guard Police of Myanmar beyond the border as mysterious.

He stated this at a press conference held at the central office of the BNP in Nayapaltan on Thursday morning (February 8).

He said, "Begum Khaleda Zia is the beloved leader of the people; as if this is her crime. She needs treatment, but the government is not providing it."

Referring to the remarks of Awami League's General Secretary Obaidul Quader, he mentioned that attempting to cover up wrongdoing and corruption is exacerbating the stigma associated with the Awami League. Quader's words imply that the foundation of all political power of the BNP lies in the people of the country. Last year's statement by Obaidul Quader is still fresh in everyone's memory, 'We are together, Delhi is with us. As long as Delhi exists, so do we.' The meaning of this statement is that the survival of the Awami League is dependent on Delhi's mercy. The perennial fear of the Awami League is weakening the sovereignty of its own country. BGB was killed in BSF firing but Awami League did not dare to protest.

He said that the Bangladesh-Myanmar border has become unprotected at Naikhongchhari in Bandarban. People in Bangladeshi border areas are suffering from extreme insecurity. Both men and women in border areas of Bangladesh are not safe. Life is endangered by mortar shells. The lives and land of the people of Bangladesh are now unprotected. People and arms from neighboring countries are infiltrating Bangladesh's borders. And the superficial silence of the Bangladesh government is primarily aimed at disorienting the people of the country. The Prime Minister's words of peace have now put the sovereignty of the country in jeopardy. Our border forces are under constant pressure, and as a result, the people of Bangladesh are on the brink of disaster. However, during the tenure of President Ziaur Rahman and Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, the border areas of Bangladesh were secure, and the people were safe.
