All Murders Would Be Prosecuted: Rizvi

Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP said that numerous leaders and workers of BNP were killed during the Awami League government. Many people including Elias Ali, Chowdhury Alam have gone missing during their tenure. The crimes and murders of the Awami government would be investigated through the international investigation.

Rizvi said these while distributing leaflets in Fakirapool area of the capital on Tuesday morning (February 13). He said, 'increasing commodity prices during dummy elections, arisen murders, rapes, gas and energy crisis and restoring democracy and human rights, voting rights as well as protecting the independence and sovereignty of the motherland, we have to go for movement'. 

Ruhul Kabir Rizvi mentioned, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that army officers were suppressed during the time of former President Ziaur Rahman, many were hanged. If you rebel against the army, you will be judged over there, it’s the rules. Ziaur Rahman tried by following legal process, they were tried by the army law. And you made the military officers disappear. Where is Brigadier General Azmi today? Didn’t he disappear? They disappeared during your government.

He said that the dummy election of January 7 was rejected by the people. People have risen against it. Everyone is now in the field with the aim to topple down the government.
