BNP Can't Avoid Punishment: Quader

General Secretary of Awami League and Minister of Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader said that BNP cannot go unpunished because of their image of torture of arson.

He made these remarks on Thursday (February 15th) afternoon at the Awami League's political office in Dhanmondi.

Obaidul Quader said that the bail or verdict of the BNP Secretary-General is a matter for the court, not the government.

At this time, according to the decision of the parliamentary board, nominations for reserved seats have been given, informed the General Secretary of Awami League, Obaidul Quader.

He said that the Awami League's parliamentary nomination board has selected candidates for reserved seats after scrutiny and selection. The party has nominated those whom they consider eligible. There is no relation between the nomination for reserved women's seats and the people's rejection in direct elections.
