PM Hasina And Many Awami League Leaders Staying Dhaka On Eid Day

Several key leaders of the ruling Awami League are staying in Dhaka to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on Thursday, meanwhile many lawmakers and central leaders went to their constituencies in view of the upcoming upazila elections.

The leaders will share Eid's joy with party supporters and the general public, as well as participate in social events.

Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will celebrate Eid at her official residence, Ganabhaban. She will exchange greetings with party colleagues, poets, litterateurs, writers, journalists, teachers, and intellectuals at 10am.

Later, she will exchange greetings with judges, cabinet secretary, chiefs of three services of the Armed Forces, foreign diplomats, senior secretaries, secretaries, and other civil and military officials with ranks equivalent to secretaries.

On Wednesday, the premier greeted the people of the country on Eid. “Let us share the joy and happiness of Eid-ul-Fitr with everyone, including relatives and neighbours,” she said in a video message.

She prayed that Eid brings endless joy, happiness, and peace into everyone’s lives.
