BNP Leader Mintoo Admitted To Hospital

Bangladesh Nationalist Party’s (BNP) Vice-Chairman Abdul Awal Mintoo has been admitted into the hospital. He was admitted to the United Hospital of the capital at 2am on Saturday while feeling severe pain in his chest.

This information was confirmed by his son Tabith Awal.

Tabith said that his father was admitted with all the signs of a heart attack. He is currently stable, with consciousness and no pain, although his cardiac functions are at 50%.

He gave two blood samples, and both were negative a 3rd test will take place at 8pm to finalize and decide if it was a mild heart attack or not. He is still in CCU, he added.
