Exiled Bangladeshi author Taslima
Nasrin has been banned from Facebook for a week. Taslima claimed this in a
tweet on Monday (November 1) morning.
In a tweet, she said,
"Facebook banned me for another week for telling the truth." However,
Taslima Nasrin did not say when she was banned from Facebook. The controversial
Bangladeshi writer made another tweet at 10:51 am on Monday.
"Islamists have vandalized the homes and temples of Bangladeshi Hindus," she tweeted. They believe that Hindus have kept the Qur'an in Hanuman's lap. But when it came to light that not Hindus, Iqbal Hossain did this; The Islamists were silent then, they did not say anything against Iqbal. Facebook banned me for writing it."
In another tweet at 1:28 pm
on the same day, Taslima Nasrin praised India's secularism.
She said, "Hindus pray
in different places like Ajmer Sharif Dargah, Nizamuddin Dargah. Salman Khan
celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi, Shah Rukh Khan prays at Siddhi Binayak Temple.
This is India."
On March 16 this year, Facebook also banned Taslima Nasrin on their platform for 24 hours. Once in 2015, this medium of social communication blocked her account. In addition, this social media has deleted many of her posts for violating Facebook's policy at different times.
