Bangladesh women have defeated Thailand to clinch the ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier championship on Saturday (Sept 7).
The girls in red and green beat the Thais by a massive 70 runs at Forthhill in Dundee.
Batting first after winning toss, Sanzida Islam (71) scored a half-century to post Bangladesh 130 for five.
Sanzida's 60-ball knock was built with six fours and three sixes.
Bangladesh blowers then restricted Thailand to 60 in 20 overs in their chase to the target to lift the championship.
Both finalists, however, confirmed their spots in the 10-national ICC T20 World Cup in Australia in 2020.
