Gayle Arrives in Dhaka for BBPL

Caribbean batsman Chris Gayle has arrived in Dhaka on Monday morning to take part in the Bangabandhu BPL Cricket Tournament for the Chattogram Challengers. 

Confirming Gayle’s arrival, Ahmed Rakib, media manager of Chattogram Challengers, told Daily Bangladesh on Sunday that Gayle would come to Dhaka on January 6 as per the schedule. He can get on the field against Rajshahi Royals on Tuesday. 

In reply to the question of whether Gayle will be seen in this match, the media manager of Chattogram Challengers said, “it really cannot say, because it is the responsibility of the team management. They will select the best XI.”

The Chattogram Challengers pulled Gayle first for their team of the foreigners’ categories in the BPL Players Draft.
