Tigers Sent to Bat in Mash’s Final ODI As Captain

In his last one-day international match as Bangladesh captain, Mashrafe bin Murtaza failed to win the toss as Zimbabwe's Sean Williams won the toss and elected bowl first today in the third and final match of the series in Sylhet.

Bangladesh, who already won the series after winning the opening two matches by 169 runs and four runs respectively, handed Mohammad Naim and Afif Hossain an ODI debut in the match.

Mohammad Saifuddin and Mustafizur Rahman were also brought back to their starting line up Mushfiqur Rahim was rested.

Najmul Hossain, Al-Amim Hossain and Shafiul Islam were left out.

This is the final ODI for Mashrafee as the one-day international captain of Bangladesh after he announced to step down at the end of the series.

Zimbabwe fielded an unchanged squad for the game.
