Copa America in Argentina and Colombia this summer was postponed by a year to 2021 on Tuesday due to a coronavirus pandemic, said the organizers of CONMEBOL.
The announcement was made quickly on the heels of a similar decision by UEFA to also push back Euro 2020 by 12 months.
The Copa, the largest continental men's tournament in South America, was set to take place between 11 June and 11 July, and for the first time in two continents, with 12 teams including Australia and Qatar.
