Kings Beat Kacharipara by 5-0

Reigning champions Bashundhara Kings beat Jamalpur Kacharipara Ekados by 5-0 goals in their sixth match of the ongoing Women’s Football League Bangabandhu National Stadium on Friday.

Shamsunnahar Jr netted twice in the 48th and 60th minutes while Masura Parvin, Maria Manda and Shopna added one each in the 31st, 69th and 88th minutes respectively, reports media.

With the day's feat, Kings have been maintaining their command on the 8-team points table with 18 points and the unbeaten run for six matches while Kacharipara Ekados remained seventh with previous 3 points from one win and five defeats.

Coming from 0-1 goal behind, Nasrin SA beat Cumilla United by 2-1 goals in the day’s other match at the same venue.

Shopna Akter and Shirin Akter netted one goal each for Nasrin in the 58th and 69th minutes after Rojina Akter took the lead for Cumilla in the 52nd minute.

The runners-up Nasrin SA reached third with 10 points from three wins, one draw and two defeats while Cumilla remained fifth with their previous 7 points from two wins, one draw and three defeats.
