All members of the Bangladesh national cricket team and
support staff have tested negative for Covid-19 ahead of their preparation camp
in Oman for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup qualifiers.

Chowdhury confirmed the matter to the media today (3 Oct).
Mahmudullah and his teammates will depart Dhaka for Oman at
10:45 pm tonight (Sunday) to compete in the World Cup qualifiers. They will be
quarantined in their accommodation for one day after arriving in Oman on
Monday. The Tigers' corona samples were taken earlier in the day on Saturday.
After completing their IPL duties, all-rounder Shakib Al
Hasan and bowler Mustafizur Rahman will immediately join the Bangladesh team.
Members of the international coaching staff will fly in from their home nations
to Oman.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh's opener Liton Das and his wife
traveled for Oman on September 30.
Before the qualifying round begins, Bangladesh will play two
warm-up matches against Sri Lanka and Ireland. The two matches will take place
in Abu Dhabi on October 12 and 14.
To qualify for the Super 12s, Bangladesh will have to play
the first round. On October 17, they will play Scotland in their first
qualifying encounter.
Bangladesh is pitted against Scotland, Oman, and Papua New
Guinea.
