Three Bangladeshi Cricketers have been named in the ICC Men's ODI XI of the Year. They are Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, and Mostafizur Rahman.

The biggest thing is that the highest number of players from Bangladesh has got a place in this XI of the best ODI team of the year, the highest three. Like T20, the captain of this team is Babar Azam of Pakistan.

The best ODI XI of the year has been published today, Thursday (January 20).

Earlier, only one Bangladeshi was ranked in the ICC Twenty20 XI of the year. He is Mostafizur Rahman. He also got a place in the ODI team. Shakib and Mushfiqur are with him.

Three from Bangladesh, two each from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, and Ireland. No one from India, Australia, England, West Indies, or New Zealand has a place in this XI.

This team has been formed on the basis of last year's performance. With the T20 World Cup in mind, all the teams have played more T20s last year. The rest of the time, Test cricket has dominated. As a result, only Bangladesh (12), Sri Lanka (15), Ireland (14), and South Africa (10) have played 10 or more ODIs among the full member teams.

ICC ODI XI of the Year:

Paul Sterling (Ireland), Janneman Malan (South Africa), Babar Azam (captain, Pakistan), Fakhar Zaman (Pakistan), Rassie van der Dussen (South Africa), Shakib Al Hasan (Bangladesh), Mushfiqur Rahim (Bangladesh, wicketkeeper) , Wanidu Hasaranga (Sri Lanka), Mostafizur Rahman (Bangladesh), Simi Singh (Ireland) and Dushmantha Chameera (Sri Lanka).
