Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan was unsold in the mega auction of the Indian Premier League’s (IPL) 15th edition, reports media.
Shakib, who was called up in the all-rounder set, stayed unsold as no team bid for him.
He is unsold for now, as the veteran can be bought later on tomorrow if any of the franchises show interest.
In 2021, Shakib was bought for 3.2 crore rupees by Kolkata Knight Riders in the last edition.
He was not retained by KKR after a forgettable 2021 season.
Meanwhile, Australian batter Steve Smith and India’s batter Suresh Raina also could not find any of the participating team willing to buy them.
Earlier, Shreyas Iyer dominated the marquee list as he was sold to Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 12.25 crore.
Shikhar Dhawan was bought by Punjab Kings for Rs 8.25 crore. KKR also bought Pat Cummins for Rs 7.25 crore, Times of India reported.
