Bangladesh's assailed the target of 136 set by Zimbabwe pretty comfortably in the second T20I at the Harare Sports Club today to level the series 1-1 with a seven-wicket win.

Bangladesh started well in the chase with Liton Das beginning where he left off in the earlier game. In the third over, Liton dispatched Tanaka Chivanga for two sixes and a four to start taking advantage of the Powerplay overs.

Munim Shahriar played across the line to a Richard Ngarava delivery in the fifth over to see his off stump disturbed after 8-ball 7 but Bangladesh finished the Powerplay strongly at 53 for 1.

Liton notched his fifty but departed out leg-before to Sean Williams after 33-ball 56, laced with six fours and two sixes. Anamul Haque fell in similar fashion to the first game, out caught at deep mid on off Raza to depart for 16 but Afif Hossain (30) and Najmul Hossain (19) ensured that further wickets did not fall as they notched a 55-run unbroken stand off 48 deliveries as Tigers won with 15 deliveries to spare.

Earlier, Tigers' all-rounder Mosaddek Hossain became the first off-spinner from Bangladesh to bag a fifer in T20Is to cause early trouble for the hosts after they won the toss and elected to bat. Sikandar Raza, who smashed a match-winning 65 off 25 in the first T20I, struck 62 off 53 during a 80-run stand with Ryan Burl (32 off 31) as Zimbabwe posted 135 for eight in 20 overs.
