The
22nd season of the FIFA World Cup, known as 'The Greatest Show on Earth', is
going to start in Qatar in November this year. Not even 100 days are left for
the first football World Cup to be held in the heart of the Arab world.
Already, the broadcasting companies of this season have started their own
promotion campaigns.
The
country's only sports channel T-Sports has brought good news for Bangladeshi
football fans. They can watch every match of the World
Cup on the screen of this private TV channel.
T-Sports
owner and Bashundhara Group Vice Chairman Safwan Sobhan confirmed the matter. In
a press release, he said, "As the first sports channel of the country, we
have been taking the initiative of live broadcasting of all the popular events
of the sports world. The FIFA World Cup is the most prestigious event in the
world of sports. The passion of the people of this country towards football and
FIFA World Cup has always been different. That is why we have continued to
negotiate to get the rights to broadcast the FIFA World Cup in Bangladesh. We
are grateful to FIFA for choosing T Sports as their World Cup broadcast
partner.”
This
year's World Cup journey will begin with a match between hosts Qatar and
Ecuador on November 20. The curtain will come down on December 18 through the
finale. Every match of this season will be broadcast live on T-Sports screen at
4 pm, 7 pm, 10 pm and 1 pm Bangladesh time respectively.
The TV
channel has also taken great initiatives on the occasion of the World Cup. They
are planning to organize a program with the former footballers of Europe and
Latin America. Apart from this, apart from the main 'flagship' show, T Sports
will organize exceptional programs with celebrities, football fans and T Sports
viewers. The World Cup Bulletin will feature all the latest World Cup news,
live match previews and match analysis from World Cup host Qatar.
