Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have locked horn in the last match of Group B in the Asia Cup. Those who win today will go to Super Four. Batting first in such a life-and-death match, the Tigers got a big collection with impeccable batting.

Bangladesh collected 183 runs for 7 wickets in scheduled 20 overs.

Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka won the toss and decided to field at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Sabbir Rahman and Mehidy Hasan Miraz opened the innings for Bangladesh.

However, this new opening pair did not last long. Sabbir Rahman, who has returned to the team after a long time, went back to pavillion in the third over of the innings. He scored 5 runs off six balls before being dismissed and cought behind by Avishka Fernando.

Even though Sabbir failed, Miraz made a rampage on the Lankan bowlers with his aggressive batting. But being too aggressive, he also got out.

Miraz scored 38 off 26 balls before being bowled out by Wanindu Hasaranga. Mushfiqur Rahim could not take his place. He got out with only 4 runs.

After losing two wickets quickly, Bangladesh is under some pressure. In this situation, Shakib Al Hasan and Afif Hossain made a pair of 24 runs. Shakib got out after scoring 24 runs off 22 balls.

Afif and Mahmudullah Riyad's pair of 57 runs Bangladesh took the reins of the match. Both played equal 22 balls before being dismissed. But Afif scored 39, Riyad scored 27 runs.

In the end, Mosaddek Hossain's 24 and Taskin Ahmed's 11-run cameo innings ensured the Tigers' big collection.
