Bangladesh lost the toss in their second match of the ongoing T20 World Cup and is bowling first against South Africa in Sydney on Thursday.

Despite success with the ball in the beginning, the Tigers were pressured by the Protea batters. With De Kock-Rousseau batting, the African nation is now on its way to a big collection.

As of writing this report, South Africa have collected 91 runs for one wicket in 10 overs.

Earlier, Bangladesh has made a change to their playing XI — Yasir Ali has been overlooked to pave the way for Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

The surface of Sydney is more friendly to the spinners, which has inspired the Bangladesh management to add an extra spinner.

South Africa also did the same. They added Tabraiz Shamsi to the playing XI, replacing Lungi Ngidi.

However, right after the toss, the wickets had to be covered for a while due to rains. The showers could come again during the match.

Bangladesh won their first match against the Netherlands, while South Africa’s first match was washed away due to rains. While Bangladesh are looking forward to having their second win, South Africa are eager to have their first.
