Shoriful Islam was hit early by the Afghan team. As of writing this report, Afghanistan's collection is 3 wickets for 35 runs. Earlier, Bangladesh scored 382 runs before being all out in their first inning.

Bangladesh pacer Ebadot Hossain delivered the goods in his very first over when he sent back Afghanistan opener Abdul Malik for 17.

Extra bounce was at play again as Ebadot bowled a short one outside off-stump, and Malik responded by going onto the backfoot to punch it but the right-handed batter could only manage an edge that just carried to Zakir Hasan at third slip.

Afghanistan lost a wicket in the last ball before the lunch break. The team went to the lunch break with a lot of worry about Rahmat's departure.
