According to board secretary Jay Shah on Thursday, BCCI president Roger Binny and NCA chief VVS Laxman are planning to summon Harmanpreet Kaur for her unprofessional behavior during and after the third ODI against Bangladesh at Mirpur.

The Indian women's team skipper will face questions on her outburst during the game in Dhaka against umpiring decisions after receiving a two-match suspension and match fee fine from the ICC for violating its necessary code of conduct for players.

When the outspoken Indian player protested an LBW ruling made against her during the run chase for the ultimately tied third series-deciding match, she went over the line totally by bashing the stumps with her bat. She even gave the umpire the death gaze as she walked away, suggesting that she had the upper hand.

Later, during the awards ceremony, Harmanpreet Kaur called the umpiring "pathetic" and made an effort to downplay Bangladesh's impressive 1-1 draw with their highly anticipated rival by requesting that Nigar Sultana "bring the umpires, too" to the podium for a group photo. Bangladesh was to be informed that Harmanpreet believes the umpires were biased in their favor.

In the end, her conduct gave the impression of a sore loser about Harmanpreet Kaur, who missed a great opportunity to come across as a captain capable of controlling her emotions in the face of adversity and unwanted results.

To try and calm the angry skipper and remind her of the necessary conduct she must abide by at the international stage, head of the BCCI top brass Binny and NCA supremo Laxman, both India players of significant body of work and known for their great on-field conduct, will be having a chat with Harmanpreet, confirmed Shah.

Shah also said BCCI will not be appealing against the ban imposed on Harmanpreet, which will put her out of India's initial knock-out games of the looming Asian Games women's T20I event in China this September.

"We will have our President Roger Binny and VVS Laxman speak to her (regarding her behavior). The ICC has already banned her and the time to appeal against the decision has already passed," Shah told the press.
