Asia Cup: India-Pak Match May Affected by Rain

Weather reports forecast that the high-voltage match between India and Pakistan in the Asia Cup could be affected by rain. However, despite concerns about rain, supporters of both teams from around the cricketing world are eagerly awaiting the showdown.

Today, Saturday, September 2nd, at 3:00 PM, arch-rivals India and Pakistan will face each other in the Candy of Sri Lanka. Both teams are already present in the city. While the possibility of rain is strong during the day, the chances of rain increase further in the evening. The possibility of rain during the match hours, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, is 85%. After that, there is a slightly lower chance of rain between 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., with a 75% chance. To determine the result, at least 20 overs must be played. If that is not possible, the match will be canceled. There are no reserve days for the group-stage matches of the Asian Premier League. Therefore, if the match is not played today, the points will be shared between the two teams. In that case, Pakistan, having already earned two points, will advance to the Super Four stage. On the other hand, India must win against Nepal in their last group-stage match.
