Asia Cup:

Bangladesh is in do or die position

After losing the first match in the Super Four of the Asia Cup-2023, Bangladesh will play their second match on Saturday (September 9). There is a possibility of changes in the Bangladesh team's eleven in this very important match. There may also be changes in the batting position.

Today, Bangladesh will face Sri Lanka at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. The match will be played at the field on 3:30 pm.

So far, the Tigers have fielded three different XIs in the three matches of the tournament. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo is historically spin-friendly. At the same time, it has a good name as a batting assistant. Keeping the pitch in mind, there is also a change in the formation of the team.

Two changes may come to Bangladesh XI on this day. Enamul Haque Vijay can be seen in the opening instead of Naeem Sheikh. Liton Das will also be there. Mehdi Hasan Miraj can be seen in three. Shakib Al Hasan in four, Tawheed Hriday in five, Mushfiqur Rahim in six. Sate Afif Hossain. Sheikh Mehdi can return to the team in place of number eight. Considering the spin-friendly and batting-friendly wicket, Mehdi can be seen in this match.

Besides, three pacers Taskin Ahmed, Hasan Mahmud, and Shariful Islam will be seen at number nine, ten and eleven.

Possible Bangladesh team against Sri Lanka:

Enamul Haque Vijay, Liton Das, Shakib Al Hasan, Tawheed Hriday, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mehdi Miraj, Shamim Patwari, Taskin Ahmed, Mostafizur Rahman, Shariful Islam, Nasum Ahmed.
