The Tigers are going to play the first match of the three-match ODI series against New Zealand on Thursday (September 21). The match will start at 2 PM at Shere-E-Bangla Stadium, Mirpur.

Although most of the team's cricketers are resting in this series. Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim and even Kane Williamson is not playing in this series. However, Tigers acting captain Liton Das is optimistic about doing well in this series. The batsman said this at the pre-match press conference on Wednesday (September 20) the day before the match.

Liton said, "When I took over as captain, my first job is to win the matches." Everyone has the same goal. At the end of the day, if you score 100 or get 5 wickets and don't win the match, it is not worth it. All players want to perform. Not everyone will perform in a day, maybe 1 or 2 people will. The second and third matches of the ODI series will be played on September 23 and 26. All the matches will start at 2 PM at Mirpur Stadium.
