Nasir Hossain, the former cricketer of the Bangladesh national team, was allegedly involved in corruption while participating in the Abu Dhabi T-Ten League. Cricket's highest governing body, ICC, has filed a complaint against Nasir. He is accused of accepting gifts worth more than $750 and failing to report them to the Emirates Board's anti-corruption officer. Because of this complaint, Nasir will not be seen anywhere in domestic cricket, neither in BPL for now.

Although the ICC's complaint has not yet been proven, the BCB has taken the complaint into account. Nasir was not kept in the upcoming BPL players draft. It is said that Nasir will not be seen in the domestic cricket of Bangladesh in the future. BCB Chief Executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury Sujan said that the ICC has charged Nasir with corruption. If such a complaint is made against anyone, his participation in any tournament will be restricted.

Chief selector Minhajul Abedin Nannu said, "We have not kept Nasir in the BPL player's draft." He will not play in any tournament in Bangladesh until ICC clears it.

Nasir Hossain played the last international match wearing Bangladesh jersey in 2018. After that, he came to the discussion more on the issue outside the field than on the field. Still, Nasir was dreaming of returning. He wanted to return to the national team after performing in domestic cricket. This is no longer the case, on the contrary, this once talented cricketer is facing a ban in the country's cricket.
