BCB Announces Bangladesh’s World Cup Squad

Only 9 days left, the ODI World Cup is knocking on the door. The 13th edition of the ICC ODI World Cup will be held from October 5. Bangladesh cricket team is busy with last-minute preparations ahead of the tournament. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has already unveiled the World Cup jersey. Apart from this, the country’s highest governing body of cricket has also announced the 15-member squad for the World Cup.

But before that, the highest drama was staged in Bangladesh. All the drama came to an end on the afternoon of September 26 – where the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the team for the upcoming World Cup.

After the sudden retirement of Tamim Iqbal, Shakib Al Hasan took over as the captain before the Asia Cup. On Monday, there was a sudden rumor that he does not want to lead the World Cup. However, the team has been announced with him as the captain.

Before the announcement of the team, everyone was thinking about Tamim. Bangladesh will be on the plane of the World Cup without this opener from Chattogram. In all other places, the players who have been pre-conceived have got a place in the squad.
