Only 6 days left for the ICC Mens ODI World Cup. Team Tigers have already reached India to play the World Cup. Bangladesh will play two official warm-up matches there before the start of the main phase of the tournament.

Bangladesh will face Sri Lanka in the first warm-up match today (September 29). The match is scheduled to start at 2:30 PM Bangladesh time in Guwahati, Assam.

Apart from Bangladesh, there are warm-up matches today between New Zealand vs Pakistan and Afghanistan vs South Africa.

Before the World Cup starts, the country's cricket is in turmoil. Tamim Iqbal's absence from the World Cup squad and the former captain's 12-minute long video message are causing a stir. In the meantime, a counter interview of Shakib Al Hasan has increased the heat. Former captain Mashrafe bin Mortaza also gave a video message. But after passing all these, now Bangladesh has to go down to the field.

It is to be noted that Bangladesh team director Khaled Mahmud Sujan urged to forget what happened in the country's cricket arena in the last two days and trust the World Cup team.
