The Bangladesh cricket team has arrived in Dharamsala today, in preparation for their World Cup debut against Afghanistan on October 7.

Mehedi Hasan Miraz, an all-rounder who showcased his form with two consecutive half-centuries during warm-up matches in Guwahati, expressed his arrival in Dharamsala on his Facebook post, saying, "We've landed in Dharamsala."

In their first official practice match against Sri Lanka, Bangladesh demonstrated strong form and secured a seven-wicket victory. However, they faced a setback in their second match against England in Guwahati, losing by four wickets last night.

In a positive development, the team is pleased to announce that skipper Shakib Al Hasan, who missed the warm-up matches due to an ankle strain, will be ready to play in their opening game.

After their clash with Afghanistan, Bangladesh is scheduled to face England in their second match in Dharamsala on October 10, followed by a journey to Chennai for their third game against New Zealand on October 13.
