Netherlands Wins Toss, Invites Pakistan To Bat

Netherlands won the toss and asked Pakistan to bat first in the second match of the ICC ODI Cricket World Cup in Hyderabad on Friday.

Netherlands captain Scott Edwards at the toss that batting might get easier under lights later on. Pakistan captain Babar Azam, on the other hand, said they were looking at a score of around 290 to 300+ on this

The two teams have faced each other six times including ODIs two matches in the World Cup so far. Pakistan won all of them. The first match between the two teams in the World Cup was held in the 1996 World Cup. Pakistan won the match by 8 wickets at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. And in 2003, the two countries met for the second time at Boland Park in South Africa. Pakistan also won the match by 97 runs.

Meanwhile, Pakistan have won three and lost two of their last five ODIs. On the other hand, the Dutch have won two matches against three losses. Considering the recent form, Pakistan will be ahead of Netherlands in this match.
