Bangladesh faced an initial setback in the Pakistan ODI series, experiencing a batting collapse during the first ODI. However, their fortunes turned with a Super Over victory in the second ODI, leading to a 2-1 series win secured by a convincing seven-wicket triumph in the third ODI, supported by notable innings from Fargana Hoque Pinky and Murshida Khatun.

During the chase of Pakistan's 166 for 9, the Bangladesh opening pair of Pinky and Murshida made a substantial contribution, amassing 125 runs—the highest partnership for the Bangladesh women's team for an opening stand, surpassing the previous record of 113 runs set by Shukhtara Rahman and Sharmin Akhter against Ireland in 2011.

Fargana achieved 62 runs off 113 balls, including five boundaries, while Murshida secured a 54-run innings off 106 deliveries, featuring six fours.

Captain Nigar Sultana Joty and batter Sobhana Mostary sealed the victory for the Tigresses, remaining unbeaten with 18 and 19 runs respectively, concluding the match with 26 deliveries to spare.

Left-arm spinner Nahida Akter emerged as the standout bowler, claiming three wickets for 26 runs, while leg-spinner Rabeya Khan secured two wickets for 35 runs. Pakistan's Sidra Ameen scored 84 runs at the start, yet the visitors couldn't amass a more substantial total, losing quick wickets after the midway point of their innings.
