Coronavirus: 73 People Infected in India

A total of 73 people have been infected in coronavirus disease in India before Thursday (March 12).

The Indian Ministry of Health said that the total number of passengers screened at airports was 10,57,506, while the total number of confirmed cases in India is now 73.

Six Indians tested positive for COVID-19 in Delhi, while 14 foreign nationals tested positive in Haryana.

In the southern states, 17 Indians tested positive for Kerala, while Tamil Nadu registered one verified case. Telangana registered one recorded case of an Indian citizen, while four Indians tested positive in Karnataka.

In Rajasthan, one Indian and two aliens tested positive, while in Uttar Pradesh, 10 Indians and one foreigner tested positive, Maharashtra recorded 11 verified coronavirus cases, while Punjab stated one Indian tested positive.

In Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, one and three Indians have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, respectively.

Meanwhile, the Melbourne Cricket Ground management said on Thursday that the spectator who witnessed the women's T20 World Cup final between India and Australia on March 8 had been screened positive for the novel coronavirus disease, the management said in a statement.
