Jack Ma to Send 1.8M Face Masks to Bangladesh, 9 Other Nations

Jack Ma, Asia's richest man, had pledged to 10 nations, including Bangladesh, 1,8 million face masks and 210,000 coronavirus test kits.

The remaining nine nations are Afghanistan, Indonesia, Laos, Maldives, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka among others.

Each of these countries will get the aid that involves safety masks, ventilators, and thermometers, Ma tweeted on Saturday.

It is the next phase in his foundation's continuing campaign to fight back toward what is to become a worldwide pandemic.

Ma joined Twitter last week to reveal that a donation of emergency supplies was being delivered to the US by the Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Foundation.

Ma vowed on March 14 to donate two million safety masks to be circulated throughout Europe.
