Over 1BN People Worldwide Told to Stay Home over Coronavirus

According to an AFP tally Monday, over one billion people have been told to remain home in over 50 countries and regions around the world as policymakers fight the coronavirus pandemic gripping the globe.

Some countries such as France, Italy, and Argentina have implemented compulsory lockout initiatives, while others such as Iran and Britain have given warnings for stay-at-home to avoid the spread of the virus.
