Spain has recorded more than 15,000 deaths since the novel coronavirus outbreak, according to data published by the Spanish Ministry of Health on Thursday.
Although 15,238 coronavirus-related deaths have occurred, the average death rate has slowed down after minor changes over the previous two days.
There were 683 deaths in the past 24 hours, 74 fewer than Wednesday’s total death count of 757.
The rate of rising was 4.7% on the actual amount of fatalities on Thursday, much smaller than Wednesday's 5.5% spike on the overall.
The number of suspected cases has risen from 84,111 to 85,043, a rise of 929, one of the lowest in about a month. This reflects an improvement of 1.1% on Wednesday's estimates.
The Spanish Health Ministry also reports that 52,165 people have now recovered from the virus – 4,144 more than the number reported Wednesday.
