Coronavirus Global Death Toll Passes 90,000

The global coronavirus death toll has climbed to 90,011 as of Thursday night.

In fact, 1,539,424 people worldwide have been diagnosed since the disease was first identified in China in December last year, according to Worldometer, a website that compiles the number of confirmed coronavirus infections and their deaths.

Of those infected, 1,108,827 are still being handled and 48,512 remain in moderate or vital condition. So far, 340,586 individuals have recovered.

The World Health Organization declared a pandemic of the coronavirus crisis on 11 March.

So far, Bangladesh has confirmed 330 cases and 21 deaths.
