Coronavirus Scenario in SAARC Countries

A total of 203,413 people died worldwide, including eight SAARC nations, according to the latest data from the worldometer.

The coronavirus or COVID-19 infected 210 countries and territories across the world and 2 foreign carriers.

Here are all affected SAARC countries:

In India, 26,496 people have become diagnosed with the disease. Among them, 825 citizens died and 5,939 were recovered.

In Pakistan, 12,723 people were infected by the epidemic. Among them, 269 people died and 2,866 recovered.

In Bangladesh, 5,416 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 145 people have died and 122 people have recovered.

In Afghanistan, 1,463 people have been affected in the disease. Of them, 47 people have died and 188 people have recovered.

There were 462 people afflicted by the disease in Sri Lanka. Among all, seven persons died and 118 were recovered.

In Nepal, 51 people have been infected by the disease. Among all, 12 individuals have recovered. No virus deaths have been recorded in the country.

Seven people in Bhutan have been infected by the disease. Four of them now recovered. No virus deaths have been recorded in the country.

In the Maldives, 177 people were afflicted by the illness. Among all, 17 individuals have recovered from the disease. No virus deaths have been recorded in the country.
