COVID-19: Global Deaths Reach 849,303

According to Johns Hopkins University's Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, global death toll from the novel coronavirus infection reached 849,303 as of Tuesday morning.

In addition, 25,402,968 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed around the world.

Although new infection cases still continue to rise in the infected world population, most of them are in mild condition.

Of the 6,839,467 patients actually affected 6,778,307 are in moderate condition, which is 99 percent, Worldometer reports in its daily updates.

On the other hand, 61,160 of the currently infected patients are in serious condition, and their percentage is only one.

So far, 16,743,011 people have recovered.

33 more Covid-19 patients died in Bangladesh in the last 24 hours as of Monday, raising the death toll from the pandemic to 4,281.

Besides, the number of infections has increased to 312,996 as 2,174 new cases were confirmed within the previous 24 hours.
