Global COVID-19 Death Toll Reaches 955,404

According to the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University, the global death toll from the novel coronavirus infection reached 955,404 as of Sunday morning.

In addition, around the world 30.674.077 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed.

Although new infection cases currently continue to grow among the infected world population, most of them are in mild condition.

Among the currently 7,439,206 infected patients 7,377,820 are in mild condition, which is 99 percent, Worldometer records in its daily updates.

On the other hand, 61,386 of the currently infected patients are in serious condition, and their percentage is only one.

So far, 20,908,230 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, as of Saturday, 32 more Covid-19 patients have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll from the pandemic to 4,913.

Moreover, the number of infections has risen by 3,47,372, as 1,567 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
