Global COVID-19 Death Toll Reaches 963,068

According to the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University, the global death toll from the novel coronavirus infection reached 963,068 as of Tuesday morning.

In addition, around the world, 31,200,220 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed.

Although new infection cases continue to rise among the world's infected population at present, most of them are in mild condition.

7,339,827 of the 7,401,635 patients currently infected are in mild condition, which is 99 percent, reported by Worldometer in its daily updates.

61,808 of the currently infected patients, on the other hand, are in serious condition and their percentage is only one.

So far, 21,354,982 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, during the last 24 hours as of Monday, 40 more Covid-19 patients died, raising the death toll from the pandemic to 4,979.

In addition, the infection tally has risen to 3,50,621 as 1,705 new cases have been confirmed in the last 24 hours.
