COVID-19: Global Deaths Cross 1mn

According to the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University, global deaths from the novel coronavirus infection reached 1,000,867 as of Tuesday morning.

In addition, around the world, 33,279,488 Covid-19 cases have been reported.

Although new infection cases continue to rise among the world's infected population at present, most of them are in mild condition.

In its daily updates, Worldometer reports that 7,600,052 of the 7,665,370 patients actually infected are in mild condition, which is 99 percent.

65,318 of the already infected patients, on the other hand, are in critical condition and their number is only one.

23,064,260 individuals have recovered so far.
In Bangladesh, in the past 24 hours as of Monday, 32 more Covid-19 patients died, raising the death toll from the pandemic to 5,193.

In addition, the infection tally has risen to 360,555 as 1,407 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours.
