Coronavirus: Global Deaths Reaches 1,021,765

According to the data provided by the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University, the global death toll from the novel coronavirus infection reached 1,021,765 as of Friday morning.

In addition, around the world, 34,205,778 Covid-19 cases have been reported.

Although new infection cases continue to rise among the world's infected population at present, most of them are in mild condition.

In its daily updates, Worldometer reports that 7,717,332 of the 7,783,400 patients actually infected are in mild condition, which is 99 percent.

On the other hand, of the currently infected patients, 66,068 are in critical condition, and there is just one proportion.

So far, 23,772,056 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 21 more Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours as of Thursday, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 5,272.

Besides, the tally of infections has surged to 364,987 as 1,508 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
