Coronavirus: Global Deaths Reach 1,031,528

According to the data provided by the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University, the global death toll from the novel coronavirus infection reached 1,031,528 as of Sunday morning.

In addition, around the world, 34,791,855 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed.

Although new infection cases continue to rise among the world's infected population at present, most of them are in mild condition.

Worldometer states in its daily updates that 7,901,808 of the 7,967,87 patients actually infected are in mild condition, which is 99 percent.

66,070 of the actually infected patients, on the other hand, are in critical condition and their percentage is only one.

So far, 24,166,689 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 20 more Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours as of Saturday, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 5,325.

Besides, the tally of infections has surged to 367,565 as 1,182 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
