Global Covid-19 Cases Exceed 35mn

According to the data provided by the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University, global deaths from the novel coronavirus infection reached 1,036,104 as of Monday morning.

In addition, around the world, 35,078,236 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed.

Although new infection cases continue to rise among the world's infected population at present, most of them are in mild condition.

In its daily updates, Worldometer records that 7,668,872 of the 7,735,381 patients actually infected are in mild condition, which is 99 percent.

66,509 of the actually infected patients, on the other hand, are in critical condition and their percentage is only one.

24,414,627 people have recovered so far.

In Bangladesh, during the last 24 hours as of Sunday, 23 more Covid-19 patients died, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 5,348.

Besides, the tally of infections has surged to 368,690 as 1,125 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
