Coronavirus: Global Deaths Reach 1,042,645

According to the data provided by the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University, the global death toll from the novel coronavirus infection reached 1,042,645 as of Tuesday morning.

In addition, around the world, 35,398,010 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed.

Although new infection cases continue to rise among the world's infected population at present, most of them are in mild condition.

Of the 7,784,060 patients actually infected, 7,717,179 are in mild condition, which is 99 per cent, according to Worldometer's daily updates.

On the other hand, 66,881 of the patients actually infected are in critical condition and their number is just one.

So far, 24,642,356 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 27 more Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours on Monday, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 5.375.

In addition , the number of infections has risen to 370,132 as 1,442 new cases have been confirmed in the last 24 hours.
