World COVID-19 Deaths Reach 1,112,558

According to the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University, the global deaths from the novel coronavirus infection reached 1,112,558 as of Monday morning.

In addition, around the world, 39,885,071 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed.

While new infection cases continue to rise among the world's infected population at present, most of them are in mild condition.

Worldometer reports in its daily updates that 8,975,687 of the current 9,047,682 infected patients are in moderate condition, which is 99 percent.

On the other hand, of the currently infected patients, 71,995 are in critical condition, and there is just one percent.

So far, 27,420,679 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, in the last 24 hours as of Sunday, 14 more Covid-19 patients died, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 5,660.

Moreover, the number of infections has risen by 388,569, as 1,274 new cases have been confirmed in the last 24 hours.
