Global COVID-19 Deaths Reach 1,117,430

According to the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University, the global deaths from the novel coronavirus infection reached 1,117,430 as of Wednesday morning.

In addition, around the world, 40,333,146 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed.

Although new infection cases continue to rise among the world's infected population at present, most of them are in mild condition.

9,090,784 of the currently 9,163,555 infected patients are in mild condition, which is 99 percent, reported by Worldometer in its daily updates.

On the other hand, 72,771 of the patients actually infected are in critical condition, and there is just one percent of them.

So far, 27,620,681 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 21 more Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours as of Monday, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 5681.

Besides, the tally of infections has surged 390,206 as 1,637 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
