World COVID-19 Deaths Reach 1,123,824

According to the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University, the global deaths from the novel coronavirus infection reached 1,123,824 as of Wednesday morning.

In addition, around the world, 40,711,175 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed.

Although new infection cases continue to rise among the world's infected population at present, most of them are in mild condition.

In its daily updates, Worldometer reports that 9,208,119 of the 9,285,175 patients actually infected are in mild condition, which is 99 percent.

On the other hand, of the actually infected patients, 77,056 are in critical condition, and there is just one percentage.

So far, 27,847,006 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 18 more Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours as of Tuesday, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 5,699.

Besides, the tally of infections has surged to 391,586 as 1,380 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
