World Coronavirus Death Toll Reaches 1,232,214

Global deaths from a novel coronavirus infection were 1,232,214 as of Friday morning, according to the Centre for System Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University.

In addition, 48,600,930 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed worldwide.

Although cases of new infection are still on the rise among the infected world population, most of them are in mild condition.

Among the 12,798,365 patients currently infected, 12,708,358 are in mild condition, which is 99 per cent, Worldometer 's daily updates record.

On the other hand, 90,007 of the patients actually infected are in critical condition and their percentage is just one.

So far, 32,135,775 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 17 more Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours as of Thursday, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 6,021.

Besides, the tally of infections has surged to 416,006 as 1,842 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
